the beautiful skies of 2015

the  beautiful skies of 2015

I know I say all of the posts are a 'little bit different' but it is true. I really love the outside word, even though that may sound really cheesy, and I wanted to share some of the beautiful skies of 2015. also I know  its not the end of 2015 and that there maybe an absolute beautiful sky in a couple of weeks but, if you didn't know already, I'm incredibly impatient and have been wanting to do this for a little while now.

 Thankyou so much for reading.
 love you all,

novemeber

a few things I've done

todays post is a little different. November, for me, is quite exciting, as its me and two of my close friend's birthdays, and I've been doing a few things. I thought id show you them because I like some of the pictures I've  taken. enjoy my post and have a great week- I will because I have an inset day on Friday, yayy.

   1. my birthday!! I didn't want to have a massive party so I just invited my god mother and sister and we watche the fault in our stars, ate pizza and had a really good time. if you are wondering who this weird boy is, he is my twin. now I did mention him in one of my ' things about me' video but if you didn't know ,well here he is!

pizza yummmmmmmm

also for a birthday treat, my mum took me out to my favourite café and we drank hot chocolate and drew - literally my favourite thing to do!
my hot chocolate

so that was a little different but I hope you enjoyed it!

I hope you have an incredible week,
love,

Lush haul - chistmas and winter range

lush haul

so! The time has come , and it took a very long time, to do a Christmas/winter lush haul. As you probably already know, I absolutely LOVE lush! I went shopping for my friends party  (which I really enjoyed ) and I kinda freaked out in lush and wanted everything, aha.
 Enjoyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

Lets start with the butter bear. originally, the butterball is my favourite bath bomb ,so who could resist it in the adorable bear form? if you didn't know, the butter ball is the same thing but spherical ( obviously- hence the 'ball' part) and in the winter he comes out as a little bear shape.

this bath bomb is packed with cocoa butter and is lightly fragranced with vanilla , it literally smells white chocolate!, leaving you with the softest skin.
This next one is my second favourite (I swear I am doing this in no particular order!)and is the sparkly pumpkin. this lustre-covered bubble bar is fragranced with a spicy yet uplifting smell. it has juniper berry, lime oil , grapefruit oil and cinnamon which  may sound like an odd mixture but it really does work!
just crumble a chunk under running water to lie in a sparkly bubbly lake of fruity spice.
lush's bubble bars work in a different way to the bath bombs. with bath bombs you just drop them in and watch them fizz away where as bubble bars you crumble a chunk under the running water leaving you a bubbly heaven.

I have never tried a reusable bubble bar before but this one I love! Its bright pink , covered with lustre and smells devine. the scent is the same scent as snow fairy shower gel which smells like candyfloss.this wand can be used multiple times; to leave you with a pink bubbly fairylicious bath, just swirl your wand around in the bath and watch as it transforms you!

Next is yognog. I've never sent this bath bomb before but with its toffee scent, it was hard to resist! this delicious scent also comes in soap form, yognog soap. this bath bomb has shea butter, to soften your skin, lustre, to add a little sparkle, and essential oils such as: ylang  ylang, clove and vanilla absolute.

this father Christmas face is the cutest sweet smelling father Christmas you will come about. a snow-fairy scented and green middle centred, what more could you want?

I love this father Christmas bath bomb! he smells like snow fairy and turns your bath into a sweet smelling Christmas tree! I'm so excited to use it as I have never tried it before.it smells like a sweet shop and looks like it would leave your bath pastel pink but actually turns vivid green!

now, I know this is not in the Christmas, winter or Halloween range but it is a new oxford street exclusive. if you didn't know, there is a relatively new lush store on oxford street that has tons of excise products and over 3 floors!
more recently, they've taken some original products out of the 'normal' local  lush stores and added some new ones. this is the only excusive product I got and its called the experimenter. its a hexagonal shaped bath bomb with each face a different colour! despite the musky smell , which isn't my favourite, it fizzes 5 bright colours  before leaving your bath  a shimmery grey/black water.

this is the last one, sadly, its called the 'dashing Santa' and is a fun citrusy fizzer. it smells like oranges and is acute little Santa carrying his sack of presents.

he leaves the bath bright red and fills the room with a citrus smell whilst he fizzes. he contains: bergamot oil, orange flower absolute and a little lustre to create a festive bath time experience!

I hope you enjoyed this haul as much as I enjoyed writing it and hopefully this is the first haul of many yet to come- aha. have an amazing day wherever you are!

lots of love,

starry sky nail tutorial

 starry sky - nail tutorial

I was experimenting with nail varnishes and looking on Pinterest for ideas ,lets be honest all the nail tutorials on there are really complicated and turn out way too perfect. I wanted to do something autumnal so I came up with a starry night design. now you may be thinking that has absolutely no relation  to autumn , and yeah you're kind of right,  but as the days are getting darker earlier I thought I might get away with it! enjoyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

I am using a number seven nail varnish to be my 'night sky' and a gelly high shine Barry m nail paint to be my ' stars and moon'. I love the No7 nail varnish because it gives amazing coverage( I only used one coat) and , as you can see in the bottle, it looks almost galaxy like. where as the Barry m gelly high shine in ' coconut' is a gorgeous off white colour that's give a shiny finish; perfect for the 'stars'.

I painted one coat of the blue and let it dry before painting on the 'stars'.

I used a dotting tool to paint on my ' stars and moon' but you can use anything from a DIY dotting tool ( all over Pinterest and/or google images) to a old paintbrush. I actually have nail art pens but I thought it would be too easy and boring if nobody else have them! I cant remember where I got my dotting tools from but I shall link some bellow. they are really useful for not only this design but for many others too and are really affordable.

you can practise this on a plastic folder, I did in the  the picture below, to get used to painting stars- its not that hard!

I really liked the finished result of my nails and if you wondered why I painted my toe nails instead of my finger nails its because I bight mine and they're really ugly and short. I've never been able to paint them because of how short they are but I would really love to so if you have any ways to stop me biting them drop a comment her or on my instagram- @Rosa.bellamonte.

Thank you so much for reading I really appreciate it and I love you all! i hope you have an amazing day wherever you are!

love,

things i love

things I love

I was looking through my posts to see what was the most popular and my 'about me' post was. because that post is short and doesn't cover lots of things I thought id do a 'things I love' post to tell you more about me. let me know if you would like me to do a baking post via the comments or my instagram - @Rosa.bellamonte. enjoyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

this picture isn't because I love cake , well obviously I do!, its because I love baking. I always love to experiment with things and just love baking really. I'm not really confident enough posting a baking post on here yet but it is one of the things I do want to definitely do.  this cupcake above was one of the many I baked my sister for her birthday. they were really fun to make , because they were so colourful, and surprisingly easy too!
Tea tEa teA. basically I love tea.  autumn is my favourite month 1) because of autumn leaves 2) because of my birthday - not gunner lie ,aha. and 3) because of hot chocolate, tea and just warm drinks in general. I love having a warm cup of tea in my hands and just sipping it- ok that's really weird!
I love just going to parks and cafes and just doing some art. it makes me feel really calm and is really enjoyable. I might , when I've finished it, show you my autumn sketch book I've been working on over the past two months.

I have 2 cats whom I love very much and will probably feature on here more than anything/anyone. the one above is winnie and I also have another ( he features in one of my other posts) Wilbur.  I actually found winnie like this in my sisters room and it was just so funny how she'd managed to get her self all tangled up in the duvet!

most of all I love this blog. I didn't think id ever get as many views or as much support as I have so I am really very great full. I do enjoy sitting down with a cuppa tea and writing every single post i do for you guys.

Thankyou so much for reading. i hope you have/had a brilliant day wherever you are and whenever you are reading this.

love,

Rosa --- ❁
