My first trip to ikea!

My first trip to ikea

for some of you this post might seem ridiculous and pointless but I wanted to do it anyway!  I've always wanted to go to ikea but whenever I mention it my mum goes 'I spend way to much money in there no way' but today I finally went. As I'm writing this I'm in the car on my way back and it's raining son hard ,ughhhhh. I'm going to show you some pictures that I took of my favourite rooms and items as they gave me loads of room inspiration!

I don't know if you have or haven't been, but Ikea is like a great big maze of amazing cheapness! its a furniture shop that was founded in Sweden. when you first enter it shows you rooms they have set up and mini apartment with there furniture inside. these rooms gave me loads of inspiration for my room and how I could style things and make my room the way I wanted.

hope you enjoyed my very short blogpost!
love you lots,

2016 Resulutions

2016
Every single year seems to go so quickly but 2016 has zoomed by! A new year doesn't only mean making New Years resolutions you can't keep but it's also a time to be different. Personally I hate New Years resolutions ( the name gives me goosebumps) because I never keep them and, to be honest, they make me stressed. Instead I give myself one or two ( or three) goals for the year. This is basically the same thing but even rephrasing it makes it sound a little more relaxing and calming therefore I get it done without feeling stressed. Basically it's about noticing a difference at the end of this next year; tiny or big differences they still make me , personally, feel happy. For me, New Years resolutions always seem drastic or really hard to do ( like stoping biting my nails) where as the new rephrased 'new year goal/s' is only a small change that could end up being big in the end over time

I have a few ideas for my resulutions ( I'm not going to call them 'new year goals every time- I'm too lazy) already but I've narrowed down my list of 18 to 3.
Here they are:
Things I want to achieve by the end of 2016.....
1) to find a sport I love and enjoy
2) to take care care of my skin - ditch Cotton pads and horrible chemicals and invest in a lush and bodyshop shop included routine.
3) find time for being arty

Bye,
